Gulf Cove is located on the western bank of the Myakka
River and is North of St. Rt 776. The community consists of canal and riverfront
properties with quick access to the river. Gulf Cove is located half way between
Port Charlotte and Englewood.

have access to Charlotte Harbor through a lock at the mouth of the Myakka River.
